Human Resources Generalist III | St Louis MO

Human Resources Generalist III Job St Louis Missouri

CPC Logistics Inc. a leader in transportation contract logistics services currently has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist III to be based in our main office located at Highway 40 and Route 141 in Chesterfield MO

 Responsibilities include designing and administering human resources policies and procedures. Collect and analyze HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. to determine improvements and report to management.

 JOB RELATIONSHIPS:                

Report to:        CPC President

Other Major Relationships: Will maintain good working relationships and cooperate actively with CPC Corporate Management Team and all Other Corporate and Field Personnel

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Human Resources Counseling

  • Reinforcing Corporate Culture and Core Values
  • Available for Driver and other personnel calls
  • Address and/or direct to appropriate Management

Leadership Training

  • Develop initial training program for new hires
  • Identifying programs to develop all levels of CPC/QDS leadership
  • Coordinate training programs for field offices on Legal/Compliance matters

Payroll/Salary/Performance Plan

  • Work with appropriate CPC/QDS Management to develop Payroll/Salary/Performance plans
  • Develop and implement program to provide feedback on an on-going basis

Handle FMLA requests

  • Coordinate with Field Management and employees
  • Make sure paperwork is sent out

Assist with ACA Compliance and reporting

Work with appropriate Personnel on EEO-1 reporting

Coordinate with CPC/QDS Managers for hiring of Corporate and other positions

Oversee and coordinate SWWC for all locations

  • Work with the CPC/QDS Managers to make sure changes are made and accurate
  • Work with Attorneys on changes needed to remain in compliance with Federal/State laws

Assure Compliance with various State and Federal laws

  • Work with Attorneys/Management to establish policy and training
  • Assure training is up to date for CPC/QDS Managers

Oversee and update CPC Policy Manual

  • Work with various Management on updates and distribution

Additional Duties as Assigned

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum of 5 to 7 Years’ Experience in Human Resources Field

Must be able to Multitask, possess good analytical and communication skills, have ability to operate independently in planning and other areas, and show good overall leadership skills.
